Park People microgrants - For grassroots activations in parks, public spaces and ravines. (Currently closed).
Neighbourhood Climate Action Grants - Grants of up to $7,500 for local climate action projects by resident groups, with emphasis on equity. (Currently closed).
PollinateTO Grants - Grants of up to $5,000 for pollinator garden projects in Toronto. Apply by October 21.
Youth Climate Action Grants - Grants of up to $1,000 for student-led climate projects, with the TDSB and TCDSB. Apply by November 21.
Canada
Jane Goodall Foundation's Animals People Environment Fund - up to $1,000 for youth projects. Apply by October 3.
Guelph, Kitchener, Oakville, Blue Mountain - Youth Climate Action grants supported by the Bloomberg Foundation (Currentl closed, send us a message for more information).
TD Friends of the Environment Foundation - Grants for project costs of environmental and greening projects by charities. (Currently closed).
ClimAtlantic - List of potential funding sources in Atlantic Canada.
The Youth Harbour - Action grants for youth-led organizations and projects. Apply by October 31. Also see grants for equity access and assembly.
Foundations - Family and larger foundations in Canada which provide grants to Canadian charities.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation's Seed Grants support new projects, but is currently closed so check back later. Look to see how long your organization must be in good standing to apply, or if they allow working with a close trustee partnership.
